Bengal Mix    Age: Young Kitten

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy
Health: Intact (Needs to be Fixed), Needs Vaccinations

Found an adorable little kitty. From the research I have done I believe she/he is about 6 weeks old. She is extremely cuddly and loves to play. I am moving out of the country or I would love to keep her.The breed types I chose was based simply off of the pictures. I am not very familiar with breeds. She is also litter box trained and eating dry kitten food.

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-08-00629Ashtar (male)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered

Ashtar is a Bengal, that means, active. He is 9 years old, will turn 10 in August. I have had him since he was 6 months old. In the last year, he has gotten more active and demanding, and while I love him, I simply cannot manage all his demands any more. I want the best for him. He is very beautiful. His fur is golden and shiny - amazing. If he could have a place that gives him running space, and some outdoor exposure perhaps, that would help him. He calms down after a good meal - hopefully 3+ meals a day! He has always had raw meat daily (freshly cut, raw/frozen beef heart) as well as a healthy kibble (at least no by-products, no canola ... (Read More)oil; and sometimes a better kibble); plus, now due to some of other cats needing canned food, he insists on getting some canned cat food or tuna, which I treat as dessert after his raw meat. (If he gets the canned food first, he won't eat enough canned food to fill up, and he won't eat the raw meat after the canned food, so he'll be meow-ing for more food in a short while.) He will steal food from others so you have to police him around food. He has two small bumps, one on his leg and one on his side, that the vet has not indicated require help, and sure don't slow him down. He has not had vaccinations because I don't like what I am reading about vaccines these days but he is indoors, virtually always. When he gets out -- which he does at times (while my other cats don't try that), he stays around the house and will either come in in a short while or with tuna incentive, will come in. So, if Ashtar -- we call him Ashy -- sounds like a project you would like to take on, we can talk about it. He will keep you active. He will relate (on his terms) frequently. So your world will be lively! He's a good boy, just lively! Originally, I rescued him from some people who were not very legitimate in having him, and when I asked for his papers, they told me, 'No papers,' so I cannot prove he is purebred, but he seems to be purebred. He has an ID chip that I will change over to the new owner when all works out. Yes, he 'modeled' for this cat furniture maker! My other cats were too shy, but he wasn't! References and home inspection, required. Fee negotiable. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-09-00276Adia (female)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Adia is a Sokoke, and not a Bengal. This breed is native to Kenya where they are considered almost extinct. Here in the US they are considered rare, between 50-100 are known. Adia has a loud voice, which will not be appreciated by neighbors in apartments, condos, manufactured homes, homes that have an adjoining wall or who are in close proximity to this kitty. She has a special facination with wanting to be outdoors, so we are looking for a home who will be diligent in keeping her inside. She likes people and will jump up to sit beside you. She has a beautiful brown coat that is easy to care for. You can't tell by the picture, but her ... (Read More)eyes are a soft green. She gets along well with other cats after a proper introduction. Please see the the video of this breed made by Animal Planet. http://www.animalplanet.com/tv-shows/cats-101/videos/sokoke. htm To read more about this rare breed go to: http://www.sokokecat.org/history. htm To see Adia, you must first fill out the Questionnaire at: http://ajsbestfriends. org/all-pets/questionnaire/ (Less)
