Rescue Me ID: 14-09-15-00110Neptune (male)

Bengal    Age: Young Kitten

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Very High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

My Bengal, Neptune, has been with us since he was 6 weeks old. He is very high energy, and needs an experienced cat owner preferably someone who has worked with Bengal or wild-type domestic cats before. He is very playful, and I have started training him with 'Get down' and he is starting to respond by getting down from tables etc...but I have to relocate him to a good home. Unfortunately, he is not getting along with my child and I advise a home without children. He is a very dominant type cat. Please contact me if you are a serious cat lover and owner and can really train him well.

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-10-00653Artemis & Callisto :-) (female)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Beautiful Bengal and Terrific Tortie Available For Adoption in San Francisco Yearning for the pitter patter of little paws around your home? This beautiful purebred Bengal and her gorgeous Tortoiseshell sister are sure to fill your heart with love and your ears with purrs. Artemis and Callisto are available for adoption to a loving, responsible owner. This pair of absolutely stunning female cats are healthy, very friendly, affectionate and well behaved. They are a bonded pair and must be rehomed together. Both cats are up to date on their shots, spayed and very well cared for. Artemis, the purebred Bengal, is 8, while Callisto the Tortie is ... (Read More)3. This purr-fect pair will be rehomed with all of their belongings, including a supply of food and litter, litter box, and carriers. If you have room in your heart and home for these lovely and loving ladies, please fill out our adoption form here: or call Debbie at (415) 704-4382 for more information. There is a $100 rehoming/adoption fee. Artemis and Callisto's Personality: Many pictures available here: ARTEMIS: Artemis is a 9-year old purebred Bengal cat. She has grown up in the same loving home since she was 8 weeks old. She is highly curious, and not scared of anything. She loves to be around people and action. Would much rather be around people than by herself outdoors. She loves to cuddle up with you to sleep. She has been leash-trained, and really enjoys walks on the leash. She takes time to warm up to new people, but is intensely loyal once she does - rather dog-like. She isn't a typical lap cat - she needs to come to you when she decides. She does not take easily to other cats, but after a long, healthy battle, has learned to enjoy the company of my other cat, Callisto. That is why I would prefer to re-home them together. She has never lived with a dog - or with children. CALLISTO: Callisto is an utterly gorgeous 3-year old tortie. She has the sweetest temperament of any cat you have ever met, while still brimming with naughtiness and spunk. She makes friends easily with other cats and people'|she even managed to win over the stubborn Artemis finally. She is very protective of the ones she loves - she has gone and 'rescued' Artemis from threatening intruder cats before. Callie absolutely loves the outdoors. There's nothing she enjoys more than sitting in the sunshine, and rolling around in mud. A home with a yard is an absolute must for her. This cat is the very definition of low-maintenance, while at the same time returning love and softness in abundance. She will kill for catnip, though. Callie was adopted from the shelter as a 6-month old kitten, and I hit the jackpot with her. She loves other cats, but is terrified of dogs. Ideally, I'd like her to be re-homed along with Artemis, because they complement each other well. Artemis and Callisto's Current Home Environment: I have always lived by myself, so the home environment is rather quiet and peaceful. They have always had free outdoor access, with a large yard when I lived in Texas, and a much smaller yard here in San Francisco. I'm an engineer by profession. I have a fairly demanding work schedule, which has gotten far worse lately, involving frequent travel. Artemis and Callisto's Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities? Artemis enjoys being around people the most - she is highly curious. She enjoys going for walks in the yard with her human, and with Callisto for company. She likes chasing little balls I make out of tinfoil, and chasing laser pointers. Callisto is a very outdoorsy cat. She also likes to play with hands and feet and anything that moves. She loves her catnip. Both have been fed high-quality pet food all their lives, which is why they have always been exceptionally healthy. They are free-fed kibble, and also given canned food twice a day - once in the morning, and once in the evening. Why are Artemis and Callisto Being Rehomed? Because my job requires long hours and relentless travel, leaving them alone most of the time. The strain is showing on them, and there is no one else around to give them companionship. Artemis and Callisto's Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be: They would do best with a patient, kind person who is familiar with cats, because Artemis can take a while to warm up to people. I would be happy to help with the transition all I can. Ideally, a home with outdoor access, people to give them attention, and high-quality nutrition is what I would wish for them. They have not lived with dogs or young children. They could possibly get used to both, with patient handling. (Less)

Bengal    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tommy is an amazing boy and I love him dearly. My job requires me to travel more than ever and it's not fair to leave Tommy alone so often. I am looking for a good loving home that will treat him wonderfully. It breaks my heart having to do this, but I think it's best if I find the right fit. Tommy has beautiful marble markings, amazing teal/green eyes and an insane vertical jump (top of hutch no problem). I've had him for 2 years. His first owner was my older sister who already owned a bengal female cat. The two cats did not get along very well as to why I took him. I've never had any problems with Tommy, except he LOVES hair ties and ... (Read More)will try to eat them (Do NOT leave them lying around). He is your typically curious cat who loves to play catch with straws... Yes, that's correct, he fetches. =) Please send me a message if you are interested in Tommy. Please serious inquiries only.
