Rescue Me ID: 17-07-20-00359Joseph (male)

Bengal Mix    Age: Kitten

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Joseph is such a lover. He has such a personality. I love this kitty!! I've NEVER had a cat like him. I also wasn't expecting him to be unique. He is very sweet and thinks he's part lion! SUCH a cuddler and a lover. I can't do anything without him getting jealous that I'm not petting him. Joseph is VERY smart and loves to play. I taught him to jump into my arms. And he's obsessed with his laser! This cat has hops!!! He is part bengal and has a beautiful coat!! He is very spunky with lots of energy. He is also potty trained. I am in the process of getting his first vaccines. I love this kitty but unfortunately my land lord does not. I am SO ... (Read More)sad to see him leave. I can't express how heartbroken I am to let him go. But I have little options here. I would love to see him go to a loving home that understands his needs. I don't want to give him to another home. But because I don't have a choice. I am really hoping to find someone who would treat him like I would and love him endlessly. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-07-17-00212Hobbs (male)

Bengal    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered

Hobbs is a 10-12 year old Bengal (we were told he was 2-3 when we got him 8 years ago) in need of a new home. He's smart, loveable, and becomes best friends with anyone he meets'| except the mini human that came home 9 months ago. He's an alpha male and since the baby, he's been acting out for attention and claiming his territory by peeing around the house and getting onto counters/table. These are things he didn't do prior to the baby and even now, he knows it's wrong. He visited the vet a couple weeks back and received a clean bill of health. He was prescribed an antidepressant to help with his stress, but I don't doubt that if he ... (Read More)was in a home where he could go back to being 'the king', he would thrive and not feel the need to claim his territory. Hobbs is a great cat with a great personality and it pains me greatly to have to see him go. But it's not fair to him to continue living in a home where he isn't happy. He's been living with another cat for 6 years and although he lives fine with other animals, his ideal conditions would be not having to share his owner with anyone. He is a cuddler, but also independent (likes cuddles on his terms) and he just needs more attention than I can give him anymore. He's been an indoor only cat. (Less)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Hunter is my 8 year old male Bengal cat. I am moving to another country and can't take him with me. I've had him since he was a kitten. He is an amazing cat. He is intelligent, comes when called, and wants to be wherever I am in the house. He wants love and needs love (on his own terms, of course). He has been an amazing companion for the last 8 years.

Rescue Me ID: 17-07-12-00534Chubbs (female)

Bengal    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

Chubbs is a well loved family cat and we have owned her since she was born in November 2003. I would consider her energy level high for her age. She is very loving and friendly. She does not like to be held much, but she still loves interaction with her human companions. Her favorite kind of interaction is a back or head rub while you are sitting. She is not shy to approach and rub on the people she loves. She is an indoor/outdoor cat and uses a litterbox as well as goes to the bathroom outside. In her younger years she loved playing fetch, but now her favorite things are chasing crumbled up pieces of paper and a feather on a string. She is ... (Read More)still very playful. We would love to keep her, but now with two small children at home, Chubbs would thrive with more attention than we can give her. She is available to a suitable home as of now. Please contact me for additional questions or interest. Chubbs has been an only pet for over 10 years, so its possible she can get along with other animals, but not guaranteed. She was spayed in 2005 and has had no health issues since we have owned her. My sister owned her mother, an orange bengal, who was bred with a silver male stud bengal. She is a purebred Silver Bengal with a combination of black stripes and spot markings. Her markings have lightened a bit in recent years, but are she is still a beautiful cat. (Less)

Bengal Mix    Age: Young Kitten

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Most Dogs
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

***Sorry, we cannot adopt outside the Southern California area***Hi! My name is Indee and I am a Bengal mix. I was born on May 14, 2017. I am a black and brown tabby with quite a bit of white, too! My sister Harlee & I were found in a cardboard box at a bus stop. It was over 90 degrees that day and we were not even a week old at that point. Our foster parent bottle fed us until we were old enough to eat on our own. I am very sweet. I love to cuddle and play. Please adopt me and give me my forever home. My sister, Harlee, is also up for adoption.

Rescue Me ID: 17-06-23-00311Debra (female)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Beautiful 7 year old indoor female Bengal, spayed and current on shots. Sweet & loves attention (once she gets to know you). I didn't see a dropdown for feline Herpes but she has it, it's managed with daily over the counter L-Lysine and the symptoms are minor. She also seems to be missing all of her small upper teeth. She eats wet food 2x a day and has access to dry food which she picks at. Eating does not appear to cause her any discomfort. We adopted this beauty 8 months ago as part of a bonded pair with a non-related younger male Bengal. (We were told they are both purebreds but there is NO PAPERWORK to document this. It wasn't ... (Read More)important to us, we just think they're beautiful!) Since bringing them home the male has become aggressive towards her. They fight often and her anxiety has gotten much worse. We tried Feliway and feeding them separately but it hasn't helped. We keep them in separate rooms at night but we live in an apt. and total separation is not possible. She meows A LOT. I understand that Bengals are vocal but this seems excessive to me (admittedly a first-time Bengal owner). Other than that she is a good cat. Sweet, loving, she uses the litter box and eats well. She loves attention and being brushed... she'll follow you around the house and ask to be loved on. She doesn't really like to be picked up but will sit with you and sleep right by your head. I'm really hoping to find her a forever home. She deserves to be loved and cared for and not picked on! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-06-15-00063Timba (male)

Bengal    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

**Please read ALL before inquiring about Timba.** Timba is a VERY affectionate and beautiful purebred 3 yr old neutered male Bengal. We got Timba when he was 1 years old with no prior vaccines and had been neglected. We had him neutered, FeLV/FIV tested negative, vaccinated, and microchipped. Timba is great with kids, cat friendly dogs and fine with other cats except he tends play too rough. He likes to pounce on our older Maine Coon mix. He would be fine as the only cat or with another young playful but friendly cat. He is also talkative. He learned to go out our doggy door so he has been an indoor/outdoor cat much to our dismay. Timba ... (Read More)loves to tag along when I am walking my dog in the neighborhood, which the local neighbors love to watch. He prefers wearing a harness when we go to the vet instead of being in a carrier. Vets always comment what an easy Bengal he is during exams. A few days after we got Timba, he disappeared during the night. After much searching, placing ads, etc., we found him in our neighbors back yard and he was unable to walk. After a visit to the ER and then to a vet specialist, Timba was diagnosed in layman's terms as having 2 fractured knees. We believe he jumped over our high wall into the neighbor's back yard which is at least 8+ ft below. Timba had both legs surgically repaired with the use of pins by an orthopedic vet. This means he will likely develop arthritis in his knees as he gets older. Timba was later diagnosed by an vet dermatologist as having an allergy to fleas so he has to stay flea free or apply topical Vectra. If not, he will start to lose hair on his rear end. Timba still occasionally sprays in the house and outside. My husband is not a cat person and has been very tolerant through it all but we just don't have the time or resources anymore to deal with the spraying. Plus our senior male Maine Coon mix is tired of being harassed by Timba and we had adopted our Maine Coon mix long before Timba. So we are looking for a patient and loving home preferably with Bengal experience that is willing to work with Timba's spraying issue and keep him flea free. Timba really loves his people and is happy to sleep on my lap while I sit at my computer desk. He is very bonded to me. Timba would probably be happiest with someone that is home a lot since he enjoys human attention. If you think you are a perfect fit after reading the above, please feel free to contact me.     We are looking to re-home Roxy our 4-year old female Tabby/Bengal mix cat whom we've had since a kitten. She would make a great companion for a single woman as she is shy though a lap cat who likes attention and will talk with you when you're in the kitchen and bathroom. She is spade, is current on her shots and is micro-chipped. This includes a cat tree, carrier, litter box, scratch pole, toys, food and water dispensers. lnteresting Bengal Trivia Low-Cost California Spay & Neuter Clinics
The Bengal is descended from the wild Asian Leopard Cat crossed with domesticated cats. Interest in hybridizing domestic cats with wild cats to produce breeds such as the Bengal was first piqued due to widespread problems with feline leukemia to which wild cats seemed to be immune.
