Rescue Me ID: 15-06-30-00394Olivia & Grace (female)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

Venice, FL We have 2 beautiful front declawed female Bengal sisters (Olivia & Grace) that I am looking to find a new home for due to my mother in law having breast cancer. We will be traveling to Montana to care for her for 10 days at a time many times over the next year & cannot ask a pet sitter to care for them that often. They are declawed & spayed, Grace has rosettes & Olivia is a marble, they are very social & enjoy company & of course get lots of ooos & ahs. They are used to having a large pool cage to relax & play outside in & are extremely gentle. They have no idea they can bite (except lizards) & are very delicate when exploring. ... (Read More)I've seen videos of Bengals getting into all sorts of trouble but these two are not them. Sometimes they sleep on the bed with us or on a throw pillow on the dresser, they are great with routine & will settle in wherever you like. They climb in our laps but don't want to be picked up & love to drink out of the bathroom faucets. They are 6 years old & both really wonderful companions. Olivia is on Fluoxetine $12 a month (she loves to lick her belly a little too much) she's the most cuddly one, especially if you are willing to massage her belly & also requires special food from the vet for crystals in her urine so they both eat the Urinary SO brand of food, because of these issues she has an occasional littering issue. We want them to have a forever home (we thought we were it) and therefore We prefer someone who has experience with cats but has no pets or children at this time. They've never been around children or other cats & only an occasional dog. Grace loves to talk to you & follow you around. She hangs out in the kitchen with us & even has her own barstool so she doesn't get stepped on. My view of the ideal family for these girls is a couple or person who has a large caged area for them to have outdoor playtime. They love to spend time outside chasing lizards & sleeping. They are relaxed & lazy but appreciate someone who will play with toys with them & they LOVE to be brushed. We will not break them up, they really love each other. Grace has allergies but they are easily managed by not feeding her certain foods (we have a list). My mother in law just started chemo and was already admitted to ICU so I fear we may need a home for them sooner than later. I have tons of pictures & videos if you know of anyone who might be a good fit & looking for companions please contact me. (Less)

Animal ID: Gardner wgGardner (male)

Bengal Mix    Age: Kitten

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Gardner is a wonderful and very striking tabby maybe Bengal mix. His personality is very similar to a Bengal we had come through our rescue in the past - very outgoing, loves to jump up high and explore everything he can, talkative, playful and gets along fantastically with some of the cats here who like to play. Also is fine with the dogs - basically ignores them. Gardner loves toys too! Will chase anything he can when it comes to toys! Gardner is neutered and up to date on all shots. For information on adopting this great boy, please email us. Thanks!

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-23-00498Jade (female)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Jade is an extremely loving and friendly bengal. She walks on a leash, loves to be held and played with by humans. She may even get in the shower with you! Jade needs someone who is home most of the day, everyday. She has high energy and does not like to be without her owner. When she is alone she will act out, a lonely environment is not for her. If she had her choice, she would attach herself to me 24/7. She is declawed in the front, but has a super sweet temperment with people anyways. I adopted her years ago, but with my work schedule I sadly can't give her the attention she requires. It saddens me deeply and I want to make sure the ... (Read More)person taking her can give her the love she needs so that she is not bounced from home to home. I was unaware what kind of attention a bengal cat needed when I took her in. I've tried to wait it out, but it's come to a point I know I cant keep her. Update 8/13/15- Jade seems to attach herself to one or two people in the house and gets very jealous of anyone else who lives there, sparking the marking behavior. Even though she is good with kids and other pets, it might be best for her to have a single owner. Also, having the option to safely go outside would probably be helpful to her too. (Less)
