Rescue Me ID: 18-05-15-00012Violet and Hoot (male)

Bengal Mix    Age: Young Kitten

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This adorable pair is Violet and Hoot! Violet is a gray female russian blue mix and Hoot is a male bengal mix. They are rescues and were strays so we think their characteristics match those of the breeds, not based on pedigree. Hoot and Violet are a sweet pair and must be adopted together so they can continue life as they have always been and only known. They protected each other as young kittens outdoors until they found rescue. They are gorgeous kitties, healthy, both about 7 months old, spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, FeLV/FIV tested negative, and current on flea prevention. We would love to introduce you to this pair ... (Read More)and hope that you are their forever home just waiting for them! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-31-00008Luna (female)

Bengal Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Luna! Luna is a beautiful, sophisticated girl that is about 3 years old. She is a big cat, almost exotic-like that some have said she looks like she could have some Bengal in her! Luna would likely be a good cat for indoor/outdoor in a safe controlled environment so she can burn off some of her energy. She is a sweet girl, but can be a spitfire, and being as strong and big as she is, we think she should go to an experienced cat owner that knows how to give a cat space when she needs it and invite her to your lap and play when she wants it. She is perfect with her litterbox. She is currently in a foster home with other cats, but she is ... (Read More)indifferent to them - she could live with them or without. She has some flare ups of feline herpes virus but it is controlled with famciclovir that she takes in the form of powder mixed in her food and she does well with that. The only symptom she shows is squinty eyes. We are having some challenges getting her adopted because of these things but we know the perfect family is out there for her. Luna has already been spayed and microchipped, and is current on vaccines. Contact us if you have a catio! She would be perfect for that! (Less)

lnteresting Bengal Trivia Low-Cost Maryland Spay & Neuter Clinics
The Bengal is descended from the wild Asian Leopard Cat crossed with domesticated cats. Interest in hybridizing domestic cats with wild cats to produce breeds such as the Bengal was first piqued due to widespread problems with feline leukemia to which wild cats seemed to be immune. Bengal Cats are unrelated to Bengal Tigers.
