Rescue Me ID: 15-03-24-00159Kingston (male)

Bengal    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Fearful/Anxious, Incontinent

We have made the very hard decision of rehoming our sweet, 4-year-old Kingston. We feel as though our house has too many stressors for him. We are a loud family that doesn't follow any set schedule, and he's sensitive to our inconsistencies. He does mark, but I feel that it's caused by the stress our family creates. He's currently on Hill's Prescription Diet C/D and should stay on that as he's prone to UTI's. He's not declawed and we only had a short stint where he scratched on our furniture. He now has plenty of scratch poles and only uses them. He stays inside except when he walks on a leash. He plays with our younger dog, tolerates our ... (Read More)chickens, and even plays with one of our fish. (Not making that up.) I'm not sure how he'd react around other cats as he hasn't been around one since he was 3 months. I think he'd be best in a home with one dog and no cats or no animals at all, but that's just a suggestion. He doesn't care for small children but won't attack or bite. He'll just hide (another stressor). He needs a family that is laid back and not too busy. We will only allow him to go to a family that can provide and pass a vet reference. Although we paid $600 from a breeder, we are asking a $250 for a rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home. He does have papers. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-26-00496Polydeuces (male)

Bengal Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Polydeuces known as Deuce appears to be a Domestic/Bengal mix. I found Deuce in my office parking lot as a kitten last summer. He was very scared but has grown into a loving big guy. A big lug he is weighing in at eighteen pounds. Deuce has beautiful markings. He is predominantly grey and white but he does have some hints of cream and beige. He loves to crawl into my lap when I sit on the floor. He does pay with toys, but seems to enjoy receiving pets and giving purrs more than playing with toys. He enjoys his turbo scratcher and condo as well as looking out the window. This big guy plays well with the other kitties with whom he ... (Read More)shares space. He is an absolute dear who very much deserves a loving home. If possible I like to receive a vet reference from potential adopters. lnteresting Bengal Trivia Low-Cost Virginia Spay & Neuter Clinics
The Bengal is descended from the wild Asian Leopard Cat crossed with domesticated cats. Interest in hybridizing domestic cats with wild cats to produce breeds such as the Bengal was first piqued due to widespread problems with feline leukemia to which wild cats seemed to be immune. Bengal Cats are unrelated to Bengal Tigers.
