Animal ID: 16-06-28-00575Tica (female)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Tica is a lovable, friendly, 7-yo female that has been a wonderful addition to our family. We want another forever home for her because her 'mom' has developed allergies to her and medication is not working anymore. Tica was raised with a Rotty dog and she was always the reigning queen - though she loved him to death. He taught her neat dog tricks like sitting in front of the door and barking. Tica has been trained with hissing eggs not to jump on tables. She is allowed on couches, her favorite space behind her papa's head to sniff and bathe it. She loves deck time with her family and has learned not to run away though she still has to ... (Read More)try to get away. We really do not want to give her up but since allergies and other medical issues do not make that possible we are looking for a forever home for her. She is a good mouser and bug catcher. She likes playing with her toys with her family too, especially her papa. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-06-22-00831Yoshi (female)

Bengal    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Cats, Not Good with Dogs
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Yoshi was born around 2001, but still has the energy of a kitten! Her owner is unable to take care of her anymore. She is up to date on all of her vaccinations and is declawed. Given that she is a Bengal cat, she does have an aggressive side, but training should help. She shouldn't be around kids or other animals. Even so, she is still very sweet and will crawl under the covers to sleep next to her owner at night.

lnteresting Bengal Trivia Low-Cost Virginia Spay & Neuter Clinics
The Bengal is descended from the wild Asian Leopard Cat crossed with domesticated cats. The coat of a Bengal has a unique, shiny, dusted appearance referred to as glitter. Interest in hybridizing domestic cats with wild cats to produce breeds such as the Bengal was first piqued due to widespread problems with feline leukemia to which wild cats seemed to be immune.
