     Rescue Me! helped me so much to get through one of the hardest times of my life - giving up my 'child' - a four year old male Bengal cat. I owe Rescue Me! a huge debt of gratitude. I had posted a family member's Bengal cat for adoption via this website over a year ago and was inundated with calls and e-mails from caring, compassionate people who were looking to adopt him. He was adopted by a wonderful family, who has since given him a wonderful life. My Bengal was very unhappy with my current situation - I am working two jobs, and have had a series of health problems arise which have left me unable to devote the time and energy to him that this breed requires. As I live alone, I was the main source of entertainment for him, and with the time restraints I faced, I couldn't make the situation better for him, no matter how hard I tried. He seemed to miss his previously-adopted Bengal 'buddy' (my family member's cat) and was very bored and frustrated. When I decided to post my Bengal through this website, I recalled that I had spoken with a very kind, caring woman who had responded to the post for my family member's cat over a year ago from this site. I called her all this time later, and she responded with the news that her daughter had a Bengal who needed a buddy, too. They took my beloved Bengal home and he has since become 'their' beloved Bengal. He now has a Bengal buddy, a dog buddy, and an entire family to keep him entertained and constantly doted upon. In other words, he has the life that he deserves now, all because of Rescue Me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart - you helped me re-home two wonderful Bengals who both now have happy lives because of you.

     Wow! Just Wow! I posted Razi on Rescue Me! and got a call that evening... the family interested has a granddaughter that has the same birthday as Razi and the granddaughter wanted a cat for her present. They were told that Bengal cats were the best cats ever and they typed in Bengal rescue. Everything just fell right into place and she went home with them yesterday. It was a sad day for us but also happy just knowing the family will love her as much as we do and treat her like the Queen she is. I can't believe it only took one day! I got a total of five people interested in her so I will tell everyone I know that this Rescue Me! site is awesome for helping pets find homes, and for finding pets! Thanks for providing such a wonderful service!

     I had several enquiries, and within a couple weeks a wonderful couple contacted me and we set up an appointment for them to meet my Bengal. We emailed several times and on Sunday they came to meet her and fell in love. Tigger has a wonderful new home with owners who understand her special needs, and we hope will be very happy together.      Unfortunately we had to give up our almost 5 year old Bengal and I was desperate when the breeder could not take her back. I posted Ming up for rescue on March 2nd and had her adopted today March 9th. Thanks to Resume Me! I was able to find her a loving home and at have the peace of mind the new owners will truly care for and cherish her.

     One day a little over a week ago, I woke fed up with the fall mice explosion. I had to find a cat TODAY! But not just any cat, as the last cat I had, Cool Dude, was famous for his amazing disposition. He set the bar pretty high. I wanted a Bengal, if I could be so lucky: playful, a bit wild, a lot of cat confidence, not too needy, but sweetly affectionate, and of course a good mouser. I had the morning off so I searched for a Bengal rescue, and I found this beautiful 7 month old female named Kate. I emailed, got a phone call back, and went to pick her up that night. She is a delight, fits in well with our household of me and 2 dogs that loved their Cool Dude friend. I am excited to have found this site, and Wendy and her kitty. I email pictures regularly, and we stay in touch. Thank you for all you do!

     We are so grateful to Rescue Me! Our Bengal, Lucy, was adopted by a wonderful couple within a day of our posting on the website. Our male cat became very territorial and started to fight with Lucy. We had to separate the two cats which wasn't great for either of them. It was very difficult to part with Lucy, but thanks to Resue Me, we know she's in a loving home. Thanks to Jeff for developing this amazing network that helps people and pets.

     Great news! Karl, our big bengal male, went to his new home right here in Oregon today. His new prospective person came to meet him and after carefully examining her (including a thorough sniffing) from head to toe, he proceeded to 'mark' her handbag with his facial scent glands. Clearly, he was ready to adopt her. My husband and I are both tremendously fond of Karl and we were anxious about placing him in a new home. He's a beautiful and loving big guy, but he just doesn't seem to think he's a cat. Thus, he doesn't welcome the company of other cats which created problems for our household with our several rescues. In his new home, he'll be an only cat, free to roam upstairs and downstairs in a large house right on the Pacific Ocean. He'll continue to be an inside only fellow, of course. We feel strongly that this match is going to work very nicely, and cannot thank Rescue Me! enough for faithfully keeping Karl's story and picture on line long enough for the right human to spot him. (Interestingly, Karl's new human shares my given name!) Please accept our donation to Rescue Me! as a token of our appreciation for helping make this story have such a happy ending!

     We found this little guy and he turned out to be a special needs cat. Rambo had gone through test after test to try and find out what was wrong with him. Turns out he needs a Prescription cat food and has been on meds for the longest time as well as vitamin B shots every week. He is the best of cats, love able 'on his terms' loves to sleep on my wife's pillow and demands his attention. Thanks to Rescue Me, he is now in a new home in Idaho, with a woman who is taking great care of him and is extremely happy to take him into her home. She was going to even make a special trip from Idaho to Western Washington to pick him up. That is a 9 hour drive one way for the love of a cat. With out Rescue Me, I don't think we would have found a suitable home for him. Thank you very much.

     We needed to re-home our loving Calvin due to a move to a new home that wouldn't allow cats. A lovely woman found my posting and called. Right off the bat I knew she was going to be a perfect parent. As much as it broke my heart to have to make this decision, I am equally relieved that I did.      Hi Jeff, Bear did get adopted through your Rescue Me site. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I received responses for Bear. I have seen your site before but had not heard of anyone who used it. I was actually reluctant to post on Rescue Me, but then thoughtΙ..what the heck! It can't do any harm and might actually work out. It worked out beautifully as I had five responses for Bear and the first responder is Bear's new companion. I have four more Bengals being relinquished by the breeder who is closing her program due to financial hardship.      Hi Jeff, We had a wonderful experience with our Bengal adoption. The format for displaying our cat's information was easy to use, and best of all, we had an immediate response. We have already taken Daisy to her new home. They were prepared for her with a new litter box, tower, and other necessities we had recommended. They had a quiet place for her to become acclimated. They had done a lot of reading on cats and their needs, etc. so although we were sad to have her leave us, we felt satisfied that she would have a good home. She is very excited to be getting Izzy and is going to let him roam, which is what we think he really needs. She found out about Izzy through a neighbor because she doesn't use the web.      Thank you RescueMe.Org, Because for a couple of months we, my husband and I, had been looking for the right feline friend to adopt into our family. We already had a cat, and we wanted a brother kitty for her. We were very lucky finally find Arthur, whom we have renamed to Elliot. He likes his name, and he has adapted to us pretty fast and pretty well. Our kitty, the one we already had is still having a little trouble accepting there is another cat, she thought of herself as an only child I guess, so she is still a little jealous. But it's only been a week since we adopted Arthur/Elliot, and he loves Mia (Our previous cat). He chases her to play with her. He is obedient, he is very lovable, smart, and cute. We were very glad to had found him, and that he is just the way he is. Rescuing and Adopting are the best things to do. You can get a very smart and adorable pet friend as we did, who only needs a second chance to have a home and a loving family to care for them. We are very proud of him, and we think we did a great job on getting him. It was very unfortunate for the previous owner, but we were blessed with him.      Tank was adopted by a lady with two children in northern KY. We were told that Tank has settled in nicely with her family and seems to be some therapy for one of her children.
