Rescue Me ID: 14-10-13-00753Simba (male)

Bengal    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered

Simba is a 5 year old male purebred Bengal. He has a very laid back temperament but still enjoys to run and play around the house. He also loves to sunbathe, cuddle on the couch, play fetch, and watch the birds. He is very good with kids of all ages (we have three boys ages 2, 8 and 10). I think he would be best placed in a home with no pets or a small dog. He does need a lot of attention and does not like change well. His has a tri-colored marble pattern on his back and sides and leopard belly.

lnteresting Bengal Trivia Low-Cost Pennsylvania Spay & Neuter Clinics
The Bengal is descended from the wild Asian Leopard Cat crossed with domesticated cats. The Bengal has stripes called mascara starting at the corners of its eyes. The coat of a Bengal has a unique, shiny, dusted appearance referred to as glitter. Interest in hybridizing domestic cats with wild cats to produce breeds such as the Bengal was first piqued due to widespread problems with feline leukemia to which wild cats seemed to be immune. Bengal Cats are unrelated to Bengal Tigers.
