The Bengal is descended from the wild Asian Leopard Cat crossed with domesticated cats. The Bengal has stripes called mascara starting at the corners of its eyes. The coat of a Bengal has a unique, shiny, dusted appearance referred to as glitter. Bengal Cats are unrelated to Bengal Tigers.
